About Elite Gates
Elite Gates has been operating since 2021, and in July 2024, Brendan Muller took ownership. Brendan brings a wealth of experience from a diverse career, including media, marketing, and founding New Zealand's first media industry charity, UnLtd, which supports at-risk youth.
Brendan’s Story
Growing up in South Taranaki, Brendan transitioned from dairy farming to forestry, eventually finding his passion in customer service, sales and marketing. He moved from the forestry industry, and worked in radio, press and finally digital marketing.
As digital marketing grew, His ability to build strong client relationships led him to senior roles in US advertising technology companies, where he launched several business operations in New Zealand.

In 2019, Brendan launched the New Zealand division of UnLtd, a social-purpose organization connecting the media industry to support local charities, particularly those helping at-risk youth. His partnerships included Kindness Collective Foundation, Springboard, and Voices of Hope. "Taking on this role brought purpose to the industry and expanded my network, but it also profoundly affected how I view and support vulnerable Kiwis."
In 2024, Brendan acquired Elite Gates, drawn by the idea of creating beautiful, secure entrances for homes. He loves collaborating with clients to design custom gates that enhance their property. “A gate is the first thing people see when the visit your home —it can be visually striking and add real value to the property.”
Brendan, his wife, and two daughters live in Orewa, and he has plans for Elite Gates, focusing on providing happy clients with high-quality gates that are built to last for many years to come.
